Hair Care Basics: Wet Hair Handling

Wet Hair Handling

Hair is vulnerable to damage when it is wet. Wet hair is not as strong as the dry hair. When you brush or comb the wet hair, you may damage it. Gently dry the hair and then brush it. Don't brush wet hair. That can cause split ends. Brush dry hair. Always brush with the head bent downwards and brush away from the head. This will increase blood supply to the scalp and stimulate hair growth.
