Follow the below tips to avoid athlete's foot.

  • Keep your feet clean by washing them every day. Dry feet properly.
  • Use footwear that allows your feet to breathe. If you have tendency to develop athlete's foot, avoid wearing shoes as much as possible.
  • Try to wear shoes made of materials such as leather.
  • Keep your shoes fungus-free by dusting them at regular intervals with anti-fungal powder.
  • If you are going to a public place where you will be barefoot, apply anti-fungal cream before going.
  • Consult your doctor for more preventive measures and advice.
