Spider Veins: Overview

Know About Spider Veins

A web of small hair-like veins seen through the skin is called as spider veins. They are generally blue or red in color and may occur on the face, legs, ankles, etc. The spider veins are not much of a medical problem, but more of a cosmetic problem.

This problem generally runs in families and women are more at risk. Though no known prevention is available, the formed veins can be successfully treated.
