Common Topical Retinoids
Common retinoids are: Retinaldehyde, Retinol, Tretinoin, Isotretinoin, Adapalene and Tazarotene.
Retinaldehyde and Retinol are normally added to cosmetics in small quantities. Tretinoin has various uses such as the treatment of wrinkles, sun damage, and acne. Tazarotene is used to treat acne and psoriasis while Adaplene is used to treat acne.
