  • Lichen planus can affect the genitals of both men and women. Women are affected more than men.
  • Lichen planus has no cure. Whenever it appears, you have to get it treated. Steroids, antihistamines are commonly used to treat lichen planus.
  • Lichen planus in the mouth increases chances of oral cancer.
  • Lichen planus can also affect nails and scalp.
